GENERAL |
|
Leisure Time Hire (LTH) Motorhome Hire offers motorhomes
for hire strictly in accordance with the following terms and conditions. Upon signing the booking form the hirer declares
to have read, understood and agreed to this document in its entirety. The hirer is therefore legally deemed to have agreed
and accepted all of these terms and conditions and agrees to abide by them. |

ELIGIBILITY |
|
All drivers must be 25 years or over and less than
65 years of age, of good health and to have held a full driving licence for at least five years. The licence must be free
of endorsements for the past five years with the exception of two speeding offences and parking offences. Any driving convictions
accidents insurance claims (In the past 5 years), disabilities and/or medical conditions must be declared prior to booking.
The driver(s) licence must be produced at the time of vehicle collection. No one other than the driver(s) named in the insurance
proposal form may drive the hire vehicle. |

|
SECURITY |
|
The following must be
produced at the time of collection :
- Driver’s passport
- The valid driver’s licence/licences that were submitted at the time
of booking. (Driving licence and counterpart if it is
the new licence).
- A utility bill showing the driver’s address.
- The credit/debit card if used to book for inspection.

|
INSURANCE |
|
Comprehensive insurance for UK mainland and Europe
is not included in the hire charge. This is subsequently agreed with Motorholme.com,
who will arrange and maintain insurance cover for your hire period. A security/damage deposit of £1250 will be required and
is payable by the hirer when taking out this policy. This deposit covers the insurance excess and applies to each and every
incident and it includes any loss or damage to equipment, fixtures including damage to tyres, wheels and wheel trims, loss
of roof lights or damage to third party vehicles or property. Hirers are advised to arrange their own personal effects and
travel insurance. The vehicle is only insured for the hire period and therefore the driving of the vehicle after the expiry
of the contract period may result in the driver committing a traffic offence.
The hirer is entirely responsible for
any accidental damage, injury or consequential loss after the expiry of the hire period resulting from any incident during
there hire period. The security/damage deposit will be refunded in full if the vehicle is returned on time, clean and undamaged.
Should this not be so, repairs, replacements and cleaning costs will be deducted from the balance of the security/damage deposit.

CLEANING DEPOSIT |
|
The security/damage deposit of £150 is payable by
the hirer when the balance of the hire charge is paid. This is to cover damage, loss of equipment and cleaning and other charges
to the following schedule. Emptying of toilet £50 Cleaning vehicle interior £80 Cleaning of cooker, fridge and/or
shower £50 per item Emptying the waste water tank and flushed through with clean water £25 Topping up with fuel £20
plus cost of fuel. |

The security and damage deposit will be refunded after cleaningand inspection of
the returned vehicle within 10 days of
The termination of hire. |
|
BREAKDOWN OR MALFUNCTION |
|
Refunds will be made of up to £100.00 without prior
authority for necessary repairs provided a valid receipt is produced along with the faulty parts wherever this is possible.
Minor running repairs such as tyres, bulbs, oil and radio aerials are the responsibility of the hirer. Leisure Time Hire (LTH)
is not responsible for additional charges arising from breakdown or accident and our liability is to refund of hire charges
for any days lost due to vehicle malfunction. All decisions regarding refunds are at the sole discretion of Leisure Time Hire
(LTH). The hirer’s attention is drawn to the need for engine fluid levels to be checked on a daily basis and the vehicle
to be used in the manner for which it is intended. In the case of a puncture, the hirer must contact Leisure Time Hire (LTH)
immediately so that a repair can be arranged before the next hire. |

|
BREAKDOWN/ACCIDENT |
|
The hirer is responsible for notifying us as soon
as any fault becomes apparent so we can try to get it repaired as soon as possible. In the event of a breakdown, recovery
and repair services are provided by the Green Flag to be confirmed on collection. Instructions for repair or replacement,
at a cost not exceeding £100 may be given by the hirer who will be reimbursed on the production of a receipted invoice at
completion of hire. Approval must be obtained from Leisure Time Hire (LTH) in respect of repairs/replacement in excess of
£100. Leisure Time Hire (LTH) will not be responsible for hotel or any other expenses subsequent to a breakdown, but will
refund the hire charges for any complete days loss of use of the vehicle, nor will they be under any liability for third party
claims or damages with any accident or breakdown. In the event of an accident involving the vehicle, the hirer shall notify
Leisure Time Hire (LTH) by telephone immediately after the event or as soon as practicably possible, thereafter a completed
accident report form must be handed to Leisure Time Hire (LTH) at termination of hire. The maximum height of your vehicle
is clearly stated. Any overhead damage is the responsibility of the hirer. |

|
BROKEN KEYS / LOST KEYS
The hirer will take care at all times as not to loose or break motor home keys. Loss of keys will be the responsibility
of the hirer and will cover the cost to replace; key’s broken in locks will also be the responsibility of the hirer
if proven to be misused.
RESERVATIONS |
|
Complete the booking form and return it, together
with £250 booking deposit to Leisure Time Hire (LTH). This deposit is not refundable in the event of cancellation by the hirer. |
|
|
|
PAYMENT FOR HIRE |
|
The outstanding balance of hire charges and the security/damage
deposit must be paid six weeks prior to the start of the hire or at the time of booking if later. If the balance is not paid
when due, Leisure Time Hire (LTH) reserves the right to cancel the booking and the security/damage deposit will be forfeited. |
|
|
|
CANCELLATION OR NO SHOW |
|
6-4 weeks before the start of the hire = 20% of rental. 4-2
weeks before the start of the hire = 30% of rental. 2 weeks or less or no-shows = 100% of rental. Late returns that
have not been pre-arranged will be charged at a minimum of £50 per hour or part thereof. |

|
|
VEHICLE COLLECTION &
RETURN |
|
If a hirer fails to arrive on the day on which the
hire commences and the booking is paid for, the rental will not be extended unless the vehicle is available. In the event
of an extension, the daily rate for the vehicle will be added to the hire fee and shall be paid prior to departure. It is
the responsibility of the hirer to advise us if there is to be a delay on collection. Delays of over 48 hours may result in
the vehicle being re-hired in such circumstances Leisure Time Hire (LTH) will accept no liability for any inconvenience caused.
Late returns will not be considered unless Leisure Time Hire (LTH) has been advised of, and agreed a delay or an extension.
It is also subject to the practicality of the payment of the extended hire period before it commences. Failure to advise will
invalidate insurance and may result in criminal prosecution of the driver. Agreed late returns are charged at the daily rate.
Late returns that have not been agreed will be charged at £50 per hour, or part thereof. There shall be no refund for early
return of the vehicle. |

|
START & COMPLETION
OF HIRE |
|
Motorhomes are available for collection at a predetermined
time between 2pm to 6pm on the date of collection and must be returned between 9am and 10am on the date of return. Your cooperation
in returning vehicles at the arranged time is essential in order that the vehicle will be clean and available for the next
hirer. |
|
|
|
DELAYS TO THE START OF
HIRE |
|
Leisure Time Hire (LTH) will endeavour to ensure
that all hires commence at the agreed time. Certain circumstances may prevent this taking place and Leisure Time Hire (LTH)
admits no liability in this connection except to the limit of refund of hire hours or days lost. |
|
|
|
PERSONAL INSURANCE |
|
Hirers are advised to make their own arrangements
for personal insurance. No claims by the hirer will be considered in respect of any loss or damage to personal belongings
or effects of the hirer or any person or persons or cancellation of the motorhome hire. |
|
|
FUEL, OIL AND COOLANTS |
|
These items are at the hirer’s expense. Vehicles
are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be returned full. The cost of any shortfall will be borne by the hirer. The
hirer is liable if incorrect fuel is used. The hirer will be responsible for maintaining the correct level of engine oil and
coolants. Failure to do so may result in engine damage for which the hirer will be responsible. |

|
|
GAS |
|
The vehicle will have two gas cylinders, one serviceable
and one full. Should replacement cylinders be required, these will be at the hirer’s expense. |
|
|
|
EQUIPMENT |
|
All vehicles are equipped with cutlery, crockery
and cooking utensils and all of the other equipment listed. Bedding is an optional supply, as many people prefer to use their
own. |
|
|
|
FINES |
|
All fines incurred by the hirer for infringement
of traffic laws or regulations and tolls are the responsibility of the hirer and must be settled by that person. The hirer
also agrees to reimburse Leisure Time Hire (LTH) in respect of any cost and expense incurred by Leisure Time Hire (LTH) in
recovery of such fines and penalties from the hirer. |

|
|
|
|
SMOKING |
|
Leisure Time Hire (LTH) operate a strictly enforced
no smoking policy in all vehicles. Any infringement will result in the loss of the security/damage deposit in full. |
|
|
|
EXCLUSION AND LIABILITY |
|
Leisure Time Hire (LTH) shall not under any circumstances
be liable to make any payment to the hirer in respect of or to indemnify the hirer against loss, injury or damage sustained
by the hirer or any third party as a result of the presence or use of the vehicle or as a result of any defects therein and
in taking delivery of the vehicle the hirer shall be deemed to have satisfied himself that it is in all respects roadworthy
and in proper and safe condition. |

|
|
CARE & CUSTODY OF
VEHICLE |
|
The hirer shall only drive the vehicle while qualified
to do so and whilst holding all necessary and current licence's and permits and shall at all times drive the vehicle in a
careful and skilful manner in accordance with all legal requirements. The hirer shall not use the vehicle for racing, pace
making or any other purposes other than domestic and social purposes and shall not carry any passengers in the vehicle for
hire or reward. They must use the vehicle in a reasonable and proper manner and the hirer is liable for any damage fault or
loss to or in the vehicle or its fixtures and fittings as a result of the hirer’s negligence or misuse of the vehicle.
The maximum number of persons carried in the vehicle shall be no more than the number of berths in the vehicle. The hirer
shall not take the vehicle outside mainland Britain without the express permission of Leisure Time Hire (LTH). The hirer shall
at no time pass possession or custody of the vehicle to any other person. The vehicle must be locked at all times when left
unattended. |
